Thank goodness it's Friday! The weather here in Fayetteville has been unusually warm for this time of year and the pollen has been terrible. Thankfully we had a good rain last night mixed with quite a bit of thunder and lightening (unfortunately). Our little 3 lb. Chiuaua Harley has panic attacks when there are loud noises so last night wasn't a good night for him. But at least some of the pollen was washed away, my green truck is no longer yellow, and it's quite a bit colder. I had a picture of Harley's buddy Baby, our miniture Dachshund on here but somehow accidentally deleted it.
Also, while I'm thinking of it, does anyone have the recipe for making blackened beeswax pantry cakes. I have seen them on a few blogs and I love how prim they look but my google search wasn't very helpful. And I'm also looking for a x-stitch book I seem to have misplaced. I can't remember the name of the company but the cover is a x-stitch pattern of a woman with white hair and glassed sitting in a chair stitching a quilt. If anyone has ideas of where to look for this book please let me know. That's about it for now, off to grab a Starbucks then to work.
Till next time,
