Good Saturday morning blogging friends!!

I thought I would post the picture I accidentallly deleted from my last post of the Americana mache boxes I painted for consignment at Country Comes to Town. They look better in person than in the picture, the color didn't turn out too well. But still, I'm proud of them. After seeing all the tweaking you gals were doing over the past couple of days I decided to do a tad bit when I got home from work last night. The crock on the bookcase and the basket on the peg shelf have been empty for quite some time because I couldn't decide what to put in them but after seeing Karen's post from My Colonial Home about the geraniums she found at JoAnn's fabric store I decided to stop in on my way to work and pick up a couple. I love how realistic they look. Linda, Melissa and Karen from work were heading there after work yesterday to also grab some while they're on sale. I posted two pictures of the shelf because I couldn't decide which one I liked better, the dark one or the bright one.
Well, that's it for now, I'm off to get ready for work. I gotta go to Food Lion to get weekend snacks for Ashton, drop those back here at home, stop by Michael's or Hobby Lobby for some floss, grab a latte then head to work. And all that before 10am! I better get moving!
Till next time,
Kimberly: )

  1. I love the touch of RED they give... it's too early around here to have real geraniums out - we still have frosty nights, but I just might get my faux ones out soon anyway!!
